Doron AKA “Doc” cut his teeth on the metal scene back in the early 90s with grunge acts such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam, just to name a few. Over the years his tastes evolved to include heavier death metal acts, as well as grindcore and gore-grind, as well as a love of moshing at shows. Pretty soon, he became known as the “growly metal dude”.
After a stint with an indie record label, all the while DJing for various shoutcast radio stations, he would find his home here on Metalholic, writing about the bands he’s become passionate about. He loves to collect music and learn about various artists. Combine that with a love for all things technology, you can generally find him listening to some obscure death metal band while getting his hands dirty inside a computer somewhere. Doron is one of the DJs on Mojo Radio, as well as being a part of their technical team.
