In This Moment Already Writing New Album
Last June, In This Moment released their third album, A Star Crossed Wasteland to coincide with the start of the Mayhem Festival. Since then they have toured on the Music As A Weapon 5 tour with Korn, Disturbed and Sevendust, replaced their bass player, and are now headlining the Revolver Magazine Hottest Women in Hard Rock: Hell Hath No Fury tour. The band have plans to remain on the road through the summer and fall before returning to the studio late this year to record their fourth album.
Busy much?
The band has been playing a good portion of A Star Crossed Wasteland on the new tour, tossing in a few tracks from their debut CD, Beautiful Tragedy, and their hit, “Forever” from their sophomore effort The Dream. They have also been playing a piano only version of “Remember”, a bonus track from the new record.
Prior to the show, Metalholic sat down on the band’s tour bus to catch up with vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth. With Maria’s chihuahua “Twinkle” safely locked away for our protection. We chatted about their current tour, the return of old friend and one time band member, Travis Johnson’s return to take over bass duties, as well as talking about tattoos, and the band’s plans for their fourth album later this year.
In This Moment is:
