Sister Sin Leading Off Hottest Women in Hard Rock: Hell Hath No Fury Tour

If you haven’t yet discovered Sister Sin you’re missing out. They have that old school hard rock and metal vibe that so many of us miss these days, but they add a Swedish flair, and the booming female voice of Liv Jagrell (ex-Hysterica).

From watching the band’s videos and listening to Liv’s voice I was expecting to meet an Amazon, (of Swedish descent of course). Yet as I approached the venue I saw this petite angel in black walking in my direction, and much to my surprise this tiny thing was the powerhouse front woman for Sister Sin.

The band’s 2010 album, True Sound Of The Underground, recalls Doro Pesch and Warlock, or perhaps Accept (with a much more attractive singer). The band’s sound is defined by guitar driven melodies, a headbanging rhythm section, and Liv’s in-your-face vocals.

While True Sound Of The Underground represents the band’s third album, it is their most aggressive and complete album so far. A sign that they are picking up steam and headed in the right direction.

While some female rockers take affront to their beauty and sexuality being noted more than their talents, Liv sees being chosen as one of the Hottest Chicks in Metal to be an honor. This is one of the topics we discussed when Metalholic sat down with the dynamic vocalist. We also touched on tattoos, and how she stays in shape while touring the fast food haven of America.
