Cristina Scabbia is not only known as one of the two singers of the Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil, she is also an accomplished writer, whose former Revolver Magazine column alongside Vinnie Paul (Pantera, HellYeah) received rave reviews. Consistantly regarded as one of the hottest women in metal, Cristina is much more than a beautiful woman with a killer voice. She has been featured alongside a variety of metal artists including the unique instrumental band Apocolyptica and thrash metal legends Megadeth. Italy has definitely stepped up in recent years as a thriving metal hotbed, and Cristina is proof of such. Lacuna Coil just released Dark Adrenaline, the follow up to the band’s highly successful, Shallow Life. We’ve been loved and hurt, we grew up, we shrunk inside a little keeping ourselves together and our roots watered and are alive.
